Láhev 330 ml. Aroma je velmi příjemné, má lehký květinový nádech a opravdu připomíná šampaňské. Pěna je jasně bílá, jemná, mohutná a držící. Barva samotného piva je světle opálová. Pivo má silný a příjemný říz. V chuti je znát výrazný nádech ovoce, převážně pomerančů s lehkými kvasnicovými podtóny, finiš je slabě, ořechově hořký a držící. Jedná se o vskutku unikátní světlý ležák, velmi svěží, lehké chuti a vysoké pitelnosti.

Lahev:Golden, a bit unclear, stable white foamy layer, distinctive sweetish-bready nose with a quite solid fruity (dried fruits, old wine) background; sweet flavour, light bodied; mainly sweet bready-fruity finish with a very delicate bitterness in the very end. To jenom sladká brynda…

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy light orange color with thick white head that settled into very thin layer and then lasted. Aroma is sugar, yeast, hint of hops and malt. Flavor is very sweet, with candied sugar, malt, yeast and hint of some fruits. Highly carbonated. Not really a beer you would come back to drink, but for what it’s supposed to be (aperitif), it’s quite good.

Bottle. Slightly hazy Golden with a good white head. Slightly perfumed aroma. Flavour ha citrus hops. Pretty nice. I was drawn in by the ’Champagne’ tag it had. Not equisite but nice to track down a top 20 beer from the hallowed Pale lager category.

(Bottle, Pivovarsky Dum, Prague, 25 July 2012) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Quite carbonated and sparkling. Fruity nose with notes of citrus, green apples and bready malt. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, apples, bread and a fairly low bitterness in a dry finish. Medium body, mainly dry. Quite decent.

Bottle. Elegant beer that somewhat reminds me of a semi dry sparkling wine. Quite sweet. Heavy carbonation. Not reallt mind blowing, but nice and refreshing.

Scopeys East Croydon tasting - Cheers Paul! Champagne beer! Clear pale gold beer, small white head. Crisp and dry palate. Lagerish malt with a little champagne like fruitiness. Finishes minerally and crisp. A pleasant surprise!

Scopey (5511) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 10, 2011
Bottle at my East Croydon beer tasting. It pours very light straw yellow, with very lively carbonation and a fizzy white head. The nose is white bread, floral, rosehip, spice and pea. The taste is pear, melon, white grape, metal, white bread, hay and floral, with a light sweet finish. It is a clean, crisp and dare I say…classy lager.

Bottle at the East Croydon Beer Tasting. Pours cloudy yellow yellow with a foamy, white head. Aroma is sweet and floral. Flavor, too, is sweet and floral, slightly soapy, bit of white sugar and bubblegum. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Nice finish, fairly prominent bubblegum, bit more florals and modest sugar. Very nice lager.
