With addition of champagne style yeast, this beer ferments and ages for several weeks in bottles. It is an excellent welcome drink, aperitif, and/or beverage accompanying a dessert. It has been produced in cooperation with the brewery in the city of Strakonice (South Bohemia).

Bottle from Pivovarsky Klub in Prague, shared with heavy.
Medium sized white head that went away relatively fast. Slightly golden hazy head. Lemony, lemon drops even, in the nose. More of the same, flowery even, climbing over some very light honey to some herbal hoppy bitterness. Honeyish/flowery and quite nice. Balanced, weird, lovely little lager.

Bottle from the brewpub. Spicy aroma, pepper, cinnamon, citrus. A pity the beer ends up as rahter one dimensional. Spices, yes, but there is an uninteresting lager undeneath this. There is a good indea in there that I hope their bewer will find out of. Grape juice in the aftertaste. Maybe they could blend this with another beer?

Cloudy golden with a big and lasting, fluffy white head. Perfumed fruity aroma, of pineapple, orange and somewhat soapy citrus. Not unlike a saison. Dry and fruity flavour, that doesn’t quite deliver on the promising aroma.

A Mes rate. Bottle at Pre ZBF thanks to Urbs.
Had this down as "Czech champagne thingy" in my notes. Took me a while to find it... This is kids sweets in a glass. Refreshers, sherbet dips and Parma violets. Absolutely crazy. I really have nothing I can pitch this against. Totally unique. Not a world beater but a very enjoyable experience. The look on everyones face as they tasted it summed it all up really.

(bottle, 33cl at Pivovarsky Klub, Praha) A clear golden beer with white foam. A bit sour aroma. A very sweet taste with some cherry and other berries and no bitterness. It had a decent palate and no defined aftertaste.

Bottle opened by someone at the Alvinne pre Zythos event 09. Hey, I’ve just realised that I’ve actually been to the brew pub in Prague. Parma violets. A bit like chewing on a Refresher for any UK children out there. Gold colour, but just a crazy lager. It’s crazy, on eof the most interesting Czech beers I’ve had. I have a bottle at home which I will re-rate to see if it is as good as I thought on that memorable night.

Bottle from someone at alvinne. Alround rating: Its massivly floral, parma violets, the tail end of a refresher bar, huge carbonation, but alround quite refreshing. Interesting beer indeed.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr/KimJohansen. Comes as "Dudak Samp Pivni Sekt". Slightly hazy golden with a white head. Lightly malty aroma. Medium body with sweetish perfumy accents. Ends on a lightly bitter note. Quite unusual but not unpleasant. 141208
