Draught at the brewpub. No real aroma. Pitch. Well, a little roast in the nose. Light body, roast, choco, maybe some licorice? Hoppy, medium-dry floral hoppy finish.

Tap @ Brewpub. Light, mild roasted aroma, some chocolate. In appearance brown with some ruby character, creamy tan head. Full bodied. Milky creamy with roasted coffee like aftertaste. Smooth, creamy finish. Decent dunkel.

(Tap) Pours dark with beige head. Interesting mix of malts create a roasted chocolate flavor. Smooth mouthfeel, and great balance. Only complaint would be the low level of carbonation, but that seemed to be the theme of the night at Pivovarsky Dum.

[on tap at brewpub]
Opaque dark reddish black with lasting, tan foam. Nice toasty malt aroma with well-balanced Saaz hops. Smooth toasty lager flavour with an ascertive but well balanced bitterness and hops flavour. Less sweet than other Tmavys I’ve tried. Light body, lingering bitterness that may be from the dark malt.

On tap at the brewery tap. Black beer, lasting beige head. Not a tremendous aroma, some dark malts, quite good in mouth with a drying powder coffe finish. Quite good strength. Cross between a dark lager and a porter. Fine

31-12-04 from Pivovarsky Dum. One of my favourite bars I have made three visits to this place in the last couple of years or so, it’s excellent. Very dark beer with a large white head, lovely roasted flavours with some chocolate easy drinking and very smooth I can only criticise it for being just a bit to sweet, otherwise it’s a very good beer.

Their best of the five I tasted. Black. It has a thick, lacing head. Heavily carbonated. A little sweet. Roasted malt in the flavor. Very good.

Bitter, roasty yet thin. I enjoyed it. Quality stuff from the folks at Dum. Nice charming brewpub in middle of nowhere, Prague.
