Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Lightly hazy golden, minimal head. Fruity nose with some spicy hops and marzipan behind. Fairly dry with rounded mouthfeel and rather slim body. Fruity golden ale-like qualities drifts over into crisp bready malt and salty spicy hops, like a pilsener. Notes of orange and marzipan. Salty bitterish finish.

Bottle, 6.5%. Almost clear golden colour. Small stable white head. The aroma has a little metal. The flavour has a little vegetable and a hint of metal. Other than that, there is a weak malt note, but far from enough to make it interesting.

Hazy blond color. Iron and vegetables aroma. Soft malt flavor, some vegetables and a bit metallic. Low bitterness and too high alcohol presence. It’s just a bit lighter than the Ambré, but very similar.

harrisoni (10070) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - FEB 3, 2011
Bottle from The Bottle Shop, Canterbury. Paleish blond beer with lasting thick white head. Needed to decant it from one glass to the other. Some light creamy hop aroma. Tasty enough, some esters, reasonably drinkable. Like all other Belgian blondes. Some hop, some esters, some drinkability. A bit better than average but only just.
