Pours dark brown with a small white top. Aroma is a little sickly sweet malt with a small toasty factor. Taste is a bit thin, small toast, small chocolate and hop. Not as bad as I was expecting.

Tap (Zum, Dortmund)
Sweet caramelly aroma, a bit metallic. Taste more metallic. Deep caramelly red. brief head. A bit harsh. Some mushroom in the finish. Watery palate, quite fizzy. Naff dunkel. Woody nutty late finish at the end of the glass gave this an extra point, at least some hops were harmed in the production of this pitcher.

DAB Dark was the 2015 ’Official’ Tailgate Beer of Temple Football. OK, maybe just my tailgate beer at TU games. 500ml cans shrink wrapped six-packs travelled well to to games via public transportation. DAB brews a Dunkel that pours dark brown, light bodied and has roasted caramel malts and aroma. Very sessional beer, goes well with BBQ and Philly soft pretzels. Under $22 USD a case and brewed in Germany.

This "dark beer" poured a dark? colour with a average, light tan coloured head. Scents include roasty malts, light molasses and caramel. First swig was quite thin and a little watery. Flavours of mild caramel and coffee with a lite dark chocolate thrown in. Finish is roasty with caramel flavours lingering.

Pours copper amber color. Has really tasty head but it doesn’t last long at all. Carbonation is almost non existent. Does not appear that appealing but tastes quite decent.

Serving: from can purchased at Full Throttle Bottles. Aroma: light floral hop. Appearance: average-sized, frothy, light-brown, initial head with fair lacing. Clear, medium-brown body. Taste: lightly sweet and roasty initial flavor and finish with metallic finish feel. Palate: light-to-medium bodied with watery texture and lively carbonation. Overall: not bad.
