Wolfbass (50), Firenze, Italy Nov 10, 2009 Color pale yellow and small head. The aroma is light of malt, the body it is light, while the end is decidedly bitterish, characteristic of the style. mjg74 (1995), La Mesa, California, USA Nov 2, 2009 Bottle from BevMo. Light golden in color. Graiy nose with a little grassiness and malt. Flavor is crisp and grainy. A little hint of maltiness in the finish. Rather clean tasting. Pretty refreshing. nuplastikk (1161), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Nov 1, 2009 12oz bottle. Pale golden yellow color, lots of active C02 bubbles rising to meet the foamy off-white head. Classic noble hop and sweet malt aroma. Rather light bodied, a little doughy with a slightly rough dirty edge to it. Not very impressive, potentially much better fresh of course, this bottles age is suspect. Dry and sweet finish. Pretty shabby overall. tgncc (798), Bellmore, New York, USA Oct 27, 2009 Grassy, malty aroma comes right up from the bottle. Not pleasant. The appearance is like piss, light yellow, white head. The flavor is a little better, more bread, grass, sweet adjuncts. The finish is a light hop bittering, barely enough to indicate that the beer has pass through, leaving a lingering bitterness. Medium mouthfeel. Not enjoyable. It IS a tick in a relatively rare style. Nisse666 (319), Göteborg, Sweden Oct 24, 2009 Can, 1999-06-05 a bit watery international lager. I remember when the cans were 5 liters in the old days. Niko100 (82), New York, USA Oct 17, 2009 Light straw color & light bodied; Aroma and flavor of hops & citrus - a hint of lemon as well; Easy to drink several of these in no time; It’s better than most macro lagers out there - but middle of the road for me.
