On tap. Poured a clear gold with a thin white head that dissipated quickly. Aroma was thin with a bit of grass and hay. Flavor was equally bland with some grass and hay coming through but not much here.

A malty finishing brew that’s a little dry, but also has a sligt metallic tang that spoils the balance. Passable.

bottle. Poured a light straw colour with a generous but quickly diminishing head. Well carbonated. Aroma of bread and biscuits. Slight sour mix of malt and hops making way for a crisp bitter finish. Nicely balanced, pleasant and drinkable fair for a mass produced lager.

Situation: Unwinding after a furious grading session...
Glassware: Jever pokal...
Appearance: champagne-like effervescence with a yellow that favors gold in its complexion; a frothy, bubbly single-finger head sits comfortably...etching in the lacing is random but welcome...
Aroma: cereal and bread overpower the sense, with a bit of banana as well...
Palate: medium-bodied, alive at the throat but passive on its way there...although a bit of a bubble at the teeth and an aftertaste...palatable but forgettable too...
Taste: As expected, the doughy lagerishness is front and center in the profile; a bit bitter, but smooth and straightforward in its taste...
