A nice, European pilsner with colour better than a swill, and a pleasing aroma to go with the decent head. Taste was refreshing if not a touch bitter.

Dark orange, off white head. Dry toasty aroma, malt sweetness, caramel, harsh metallic spiciness. Taste is big biscuity malt, more metal.

Bottle. Pale gold clear body with a short, white head that slowly diminishes. Aroma of grain, grass and herbs with a hint of citrus. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter, though the bitterness sticks around for awhile. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Fairly clean and crisp with a surprising sweetness that doesn’t show up in the aroma, but certainly does in the flavor. Easy drinker.

Bottle from the international mixer from steph’s sister, kim not dim? Pretty clerar golden with medium white, pancake head. Aroma is corny with some lager yeast, dry. Flavor is way sweeter than the aroma with lager yeast, corn, a little chalky, a little bit of spicey hops (surprisingly). Medium body with some creaminess. Similar to the hofbrau original but a little bit more corn and hops, defintely not as clean.

Lightly hop-bitter and generally sweet aroma with an interesting iron-filings steeliness. Taste noble hop bitterness over light sweet malt body - honey, grainy, light citrus. Simple but actually pretty clean and more-ish.

Pours pale yellow with a 1 finger foamy white head that has good retention. Aroma is grass, sweet malt, spicy hops, hay and lager yeast. Flavor is sweet grain, spice, grass, old grain, sweet white bread and a little planty and bitter hops to the finish. Decent stuff, but nothing special.

.5l can at Rome airport. Starp, tiny flavor. Sweet malt later. Tastes on the cheap, macro side of things but very drinkable. Musty, rusty.
