Poured into my DAB glass. Aroma is pleasant for a lager. Flavor is grainy, corn and rice. Overall a OK lager.

Appearance: deep buttery gold, short bright white head, minimal lacing. Aroma: sweet grains, a bit of grass and hay. Taste: as the aroma indicates. Finish: clean, sweet, and short. Notes: Very simple, a little too sweet, and lacking any kind of pizzaz at all. I love a good lager, but this was terribly, terribly average at best.

Slightly skunky smell - notes of wheat and flowers on the palate, drank from a tulip glass
1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20 seymour (784) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - JAN 3, 2012
Tasted from famous green bottle into a tulip glass. Part of a Beers of the World mix-pack. Poured a light straw color with large foamy white head, moderately lasting with some lace. Faint aromas typical of better light lagers: straw, fresh-cut grass, mild malt, slightly musky hops. Flavors equally mellow and neutral, with light body and crisp, dry finish. No aftertaste. Fine, I guess. Not sure why this is such a global gold standard, though.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 rondphoto (614) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - DEC 3, 2011
Pours golden American lager color, healthy small-bubble effervesence rising, with a small head and no lace. Taste is similar to Labatts, but with a little more hop bitters. An okay quaff, but not memorable.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Mellonius (71) - Rio de Janeiro, BRAZIL - DEC 2, 2011
Poured from a longneck bottle into a tulip glass. Harmonized with dutch cheese. Straw colored lager with a thin, fast fading head. The aroma is incredibly grainy, with a clear note of rice. Taste is malty and full of cereal, with a pleasant hoppy aftertaste. Well balanced overall. A very interesting and sessionable lager that probably goes well with any food. I would buy it again, surely!

500mL can from LCBO. Creamy taste with some grassy skunkiness to it. A little on the watery side, but an acceptable lager.
