2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 kwik-lime (597) - London, ENGLAND - MAY 31, 2011
Straw colour, fair hop character, some earthy notes but lacking character. Disappointing.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Davros (919) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAY 27, 2011
Pours gold/amber wtih a large fading head.
Nose shows hay and light malt with a hint of floral hops. Very light on.
Similar flavours but even fainter. Lots more straw/hay flavours.
Carbonation could be higher.
Pretty boring... I seem to remember this having more honey notes last time round...
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Martinus (663) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - MAY 18, 2011
Clear pale golden colour, big fluffy white head. Aroma of quite malty, straw, some cabbage and a good touch of hops. Flavour moderately sweet, quite malty and a good dose of hops. Lingering hops in the finish, but also some cardboard.
(From 500mL bottle)
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 jimthechap (637) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 11, 2011
Soft and fluffy with a gentle slightly metallic hop tang. Flavour doesn’t linger terribly long. This isn’t a solo effort beer, this is session beer and that’s how it should be seen. I can picture a noisy, busy bar with lofty breasted barmaids and plenty of DAB. I can also picture going home in a hell of a haze and waking up next a woman that looks like Karl Lagerfeld. I’m not sure I want that.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 dredmond (92) - Long Island, New York, USA - APR 30, 2011
strongly bitter taste, harsh aftertaste, not my personal preference, drank from an 11.2 fl. oz. glass bottle

Very light. Slight malt with a crisp but skunky finish. A rather watery taste for a 5% ABV.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Niko100 (1083) - New York, USA - APR 9, 2011
Light straw color; Light to medium body; Aroma malt, hay, & some floral hops; Flavor of malt, grain, light hops, and some citrus; Overall, very refreshing - better than most macro lagers.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Lagerboy (292) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 6, 2011
This tastes more like a pilsner... and I like it!
Golden yellow with a frothy white head, smells and tastes of a good balance of sweet malt and bitter hops, medium body with high effervescence and drinkability. This is definately a step up for you industrial swilling Lagerboys.
