Bottle. Dark yellow with a thick foamy white head. That pils aroma hops and iron was there and the body had plenty of hops and a metallic taste. Dry finish. Decent example of pils.

Not what I expected from the title, dortmunder, guess I mistook the brand for the beer type. lighter and not as skunky as other greenies

A decent pilsener, creamy, straw yellow and lots of white foamy head, yet lacking aroma and thin mouthfeel. Grassy, crisp Dry taste, bitterness on backbone, highly carbonated, above average malting,

Pale gold appearance. Aroma had a hint of apple, but otherwise was weak. Malty taste that was a bit on the sweet side. Light bodied, decently carbonated, but not enough qualities to distinguish itself.

UPDATED: SEP 16, 2005 Bottled. A good, refreshing golden coloured pilsner that reminds me of the better dutch lagers. Nice sweetness and citrus flavours balanced by a bit of hoppiness. Resonable head: tight and frothy.

This one surprised me because it was not what I expected after reading the reviews. It is light but not super watery like most. The aroma is a light roasted malt with a light herbal hop. The appearance is a copper gold that is darker than most pilsners. The flavor is mild but full. The taste is a cereal malt, toffee, and light hops. Malt aftertaste.

A good pilsener. Very refreshing.

From the can: Pours a clear pale yellow with large foamy head that slowly bubbles away. Soapy grassy aroma with slight floral hoppy tone. Flavour is malty slightly sour with sharp (almost metallic) bitter aftertaste. I like the Export better.
