(5L keg) Is this really a pilsener? I detected little if any hops and the dominating flavour was honey/mead. I can only suspect that the beer I was actually drinking was in fact DAB Export (however the keg was labelled DAB original). Otherwise, it’s actually a decnt beer - very pleasent mouthfeel and distinctively German despite its sweetness.

Extra sweet smell. Golden colour, big fluffy head. Grassy, good bitterness, malty after taste. Smooth, clean. Pretty good.

Not bad. A little too sharp for my taste.

Not really a standout, but still pretty enjoyable. Goes down very easy.

Strong hop perfume aroma. Golden, white rocky lasting head, good lacing. Light sweet, bit sticky, good hops. Long hopbitter finish, bit sticky as well. Comparable to Pilsner Urquell in my opinion.

Dosent stand out from all the other mainstream pilseners, still worth a try.

I bought this for the simple fact that it was labeled differently from the Dab I had tried before. It’s a good looking beer that went down smooth. Very similar to Bitburger Pils, and that is always a plus!
