ILduce (86), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 11, 2008 500ml Can: Yellow with a big fizzy head that quickly dissipates. Malty metallic nose with perfumy notes. Taste of herbal hops and some bready malts. Bitter. Medium-bodied.
gilvanblight (322), Windsor, Ontario, Canada Jul 20, 2008 Clear golden pour under a good inch and a half of white bubbly head. Scent of hops right from the table. Noisy head, I can hear is popping and fizzing. Stronger malty scent when brought to the nose. A slight scent of vegitable. Watery taste, with some hops and a slight touch of malt but not much else. Much more in the nose then the mouth. sir_Pino (368), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland Jul 20, 2008 No 234

Bottle green, 660 ml
Appearance: yellowish shiny, pee like body when taken to the sunlight, carbonation visually is medium and beer dlowly decarbonates, there is some sediment floating in the body texture (not out of date). Head is initially medium and slowly decreasing to small, white in colour, frothy, there is distinct and very good lacing.
Aroma: A bit skunky (but not repulsive) due to green bottle I hope, chalky, mineral nose, grainy a bit, definitely towards freshness and lemony accents, not heavy, bitterness, hay, dry, grassy hops.
Flavour: Front is fresh, soft, accidic and mineral, than comes slight saltyness on palate, after you swallow the beer, in the aftertaste you can feel grains and clean mineral accents, very simple and good quality ingredients with no additional sweetness, some notes of old cristalized honey. Finish duration is average, lemony accents, refreshing and quite easy going.
Palate: Body is light, texture wattery to dry, carbonation is mild to medium on palate. Finish feel is chalky, a bit metalic, cardboard, crystalized honey.
martinboer (1297), Amsterdam, Netherlands Jul 19, 2008 Bottle from Mitra. Golden body, prickly head. Herbal nose. Nice round mouthful. Hoppy with spices in the finish. Pretty good. Skidds (127), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Jul 9, 2008 A good all around German brew. Not as interesting and many of the others, but worth drinking. I buy tall boys of this a lot actually. Dedollewaitor (1825), Odense, Denmark Jul 7, 2008 50cl can: Pours clear & pale piss yellow with a creamy white foam & lacings. Sour aroma of hay & corn. Dry & crisp taste - still quite sour, dry & old. A true Dortmunder I guess!
