Good refreshing pilsener. I had it on a party of my father in law. I live in Holland and the party was in Germany at Gebken in Schöninghsdorf.

Clear pale golden colour, fluffy white head. Aroma of straw, malts and hops, flavour mildly sweet, malts and hops. Lingering hops in the finish. Good though not very special German pilsner. (from 33cL bottle)

Nose of grain. Pours a light yellow sparkling golden with a nice cascade. The huge creamy fluffy white head is mostly lasting with light lace. The brew is pretty bland with flavors of sweet grain and cereal. Suble malty finish. The thin body is creamy and soft.

UPDATED: JUN 7, 2003 very ordinary lager, little skunky bitter finish, far from being my favorite german pilsner

Tasted in Toronto from LCBO. Golden colour, clear, strong carbonation with a white sustained head. Slightly sour / tangy aroma. Flavour is sweet - very little hop presence but sweet malty start and finish.

Below average for a German beer, however thats not necessarily bad. I used to drink it when I was 14/15 and lived in Germany because it was cheap and thought it was great. Having tryed it again recently I can see the error of my ways!

Can. Pours small head. Overall not bad. Not a lot of flavour or aroma. Would try again.

Did not think it was worth the price

Light golden colored pour, not much head. Had a fruity yet malty aroma and taste to it. An average beer, not bad at all though.

fresh and flowery aroma, pale amber hue with a frothy white head, hoppy and slightly nutty character with a long and dry finish.
