Bottle: Very pale yellow colour, big creamy head, very long lasting (caused by hop-resins(?)); distinctive herbal hoppy nose; mainly bitter, only a little bit sweetish start; quite heavy bitter flavour, the hops burst in Your mouth and dominate to the very dry, hoppy , long lasting aftertaste; light bodied, quite well rounded: A goodie !

Vorne steht groß drauf: Product of Germany. Test vom 18.12.2004, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,12,6,1,5,7 - 6,50

Bottle. Pale green golden, fluffy white head. Hayish and light barnyardy aroma. Lightbodied, hay malt without staying power, dry bittering hops quickly petering off. Sparkly mouthfeel. Dry finish - brewed for drinkability.

MoritzF (7342) - Bochum, GERMANY - APR 26, 2005
(bottle) Pale golden colour with sticky white foam. As brewed with Australian “Pride of Ringwood” hops it has actually a very hoppy aroma, very herbal and grassy and not too gentle. The flavour is very bitter with a hoppy and tart aftertaste. A light to medium bodied, well-made northern style german Pilsener beer. I like it.

Bottled. Hoppy aroma. Slightly crisp, hoppy taste ending pretty bitter for a pilsner. Slightly skunky in nose and taste. Not the type of pilsner I like.

Flowery aroma with orange. Flowery flavor with some hops. Some bitterness on the tongue, not too much. fairly thin with a hint of cardboard.

was called dab extra when i had it but i'm sure this must be the one since it has pride of ringwood and is the same strength. was a bit like a cross between ordinary dab and reschs so not too bad but maybe not worth those hops making such a long return journey
