Quack-Duck (5921) - Down South, - MAY 7, 2011
bottle, bought at the brewery. Clear amber-brown colour, large off-white head. Malty with lots of caramel and cocoa powder, rather dry mouthfeel. Well-blanaced, not sweet yet full of cocoa powder. Very nice, indeed!

Bottle 50cl. Pours a rad-brown clear-filtered brew with small off-white head. Roasted malts, hazelnuts, medium-dry, refreshing, not too sweet. A very good brew.

MoritzF (7342) - Bochum, GERMANY - OCT 12, 2008
(bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a medium-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet toast-malty nose notes of toffee, chocolate and a subtle fruity touch. Sweet flavour with a light level of bitterness, light to medium bodied with a smooth, well-matured mouthfeel. Toast-malty taste with toffee and light notes of chocolate; medium-dry sweet and light-bitter finish. Nice but not an overwhelming brew (17.10.07).

pivnizub (7229) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - OCT 21, 2007
Bottle (thanx to joss!): Amber coloured, quite stable off-white head, caramelly-fruity nose with the faintest coffeeish tinge; mild sweetish flavour; short caramelly-malty finish with the lightest bitterness in the aftertaste. A pleasant Dunkel, not overwhelming...........

Bottle. Nice orange brown, golden creamy head. Light sugaru and nutty aroma. Roasted sugar base, a bit light on the palate, herbal hop balance, heather retronasal. Sparkly mouthfeel, chewy enough.

Diogène (1000) - Mirabel, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 14, 2007
Thanks to JP who brought it back from Germany! The beer pours a clear copper with a medium white head that vanises quickly. The aroma is toasted malt, honey, fruits and nuts. Flavour is malty and nutty with some sugar and herbal hops and some bitterness in the aftertaste. Body is thin to medium. Nothing wrong about this beer, very refreshing but still interesting.
