The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass not really. Middle between light and dark, modest turbid, no head. Starts washy, a bit alcoholic, hard-malty, dry, fruity like apricot. Unbalaned finish, metallically. Not good!

(bottle) Hazy, chestnut-brown colour with a mid-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Toast-malty and slightly nutty aroma with caramel and subtle hoppy notes. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a pleasantly soft carbonation. Nutty toast-malty taste with caramel/toffee and traces of vanilla; sweet and slightly bitter toast-malty finish with a good length. Pleasant. 15.VI.11

Bottle (excavated by Quack-Duck!): Amber coloured, a bit hazy, small to medium sized off-white head with a little lace; sweetish dark-malty to caramelly nose with a slight hoppy background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, soft, medium bodied; slightly lingering caramelly-malty and hoppy finish. Well rounded Dunkel.......

bottle, bought at the brewery. Brown colour, large off-white to beige head. Aroma of caramel. Full-bodied, malty with lots of cocoa powder and caramel, roast flavours. Slightly hoppy. A very nice beer, full of roasetd malt and cocoa.
