motelpogo (4394), Plzen, Czech Republic Oct 3, 2001 my grandpa grew up metres from the brewery pivnizub (4949), Bochum, Porúří, Germany Jul 4, 2006 Updated: Aug 8, 2009Bottle: Deep golden coloured, lively carbonation, small fluffy head; sweet malty nose with a big touch of floral hops; robust malty body supporting the quite heavy aromatic bitter flavour, soft MF; aromatic hoppy and sweetish finish. A very good Bohemian Pilsener, very well balanced.............
Re-rate 08/09 7/4/7/4/16 the draught version at the Pivovarsky Klub. Almost perfect..............
Oakes (8057), gone rambling, Vietnam Oct 1, 2001 Thick Saaz aroma and palate. Very typically Czech, and well-made. madsberg (4873), Sřborg, Denmark Mar 20, 2004 Draught: Golden coloured. Huge fluffy white head. Malt, hops and some light fruitnotes in the aroma. Sweet, fruity and malty flavour. Sweet with a touch of bitterness in the end. JoeMcPhee (4893), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Oct 1, 2004 Golden colour and a thick white head with minimal lacing. Nice light malty aroma, plenty of Saaz hop aroma. Zestiness and fruitiness in the mouth, full-bodied and nicely bitter. swooper (420), Kladno, Czech Republic Aug 22, 2008 golden, clear, very bitter, full body, soft carbonation, bitter, very good lager, maybe heineken dont desroy and or broken old technology of brewing in this brewery i hope Quack-Duck (3128), Bodensee/Schwarzwald, Germany May 27, 2007 looks great: golden yellow with large and consistent head. Starts malty but gets more hoppy and dry towards the finish. MartinT (5026), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Aug 28, 2005 The Lure: Lofty foam from the bottle settling onto a rich fruit salad. Citrus hops play along with the straw and sweet yeast. Smells like quality malt extraction.
The Festivities: Flowery honey notes and hay maltiness evolve into candied softness. A low carbonation and a peaceful flavor interplay create a comfortable mouthfeel. Adequately sustaining.
Transcendence: A proud knight on his choice steed.
