Tap at the brewery - hazy dark copper - lasting, foamy head - not a dunkelweizen, but rather just a dark, American-style wheat - no real yeast character to speak of, but a lot of dark, bready dark wheat flavors, pumpernickel, caramel, rye bread - a bit of toffee sweetness through the middle - a little husky in the finish - not bad, but a bit harsh on the tail end.

Pour is dark reddish on tap at the brewery, aroma has notes of some fruity lemon, some caramel, toffee, biscuit, roasted notes in there as well, a bit indescript. Taste is not really like a dunkeweizen, but has notes of caramel, toffee, slight roast, hints of biscuit, finishing a bit bitter but just ok.

Tap @ Breweria, Nov 1. Clear dark brown with a thin lasting head. Nice big aroma of light chocolate covered wheat, lager-ish biscuity malt, pumpernickel bread dough. Drinks clean with a big wheaty tone, some dark malts, sweet but not quite chocolaty. Perhaps a touch of cinnamon. Drinkable and good, just nothing splendid.
