Originally released in 2012, Dank is BACK after a tiny run-in with "the man." Packed with over FOUR pounds of resinous west coast Cannabaceae Humulus Lupulus (Hops). This heavily dry-hopped craft IPA is balanced with smooth caramel maltiness reminiscent of Old School IPAs.

Can. Deep orange. Nose is sweet caramel malts, some orange and green, dank hops. Quite malty and sweetness gets out of hand as it warms. ’Dank’ but not overly so.

gold pour aroma old school grassy skunky hops. Tastes cheesy, pine, grassy hops. not all that bitter. takes the ipa back a good twenty years or so. not a good thing in my book. Buttery palate is nice though.

Thanks wchesser for throwing this one in. In reading some of the reviews, glad I did not get an infected on. Lots of orange sweetness, light tropical/pineapple, some pine. Medium high sweet malt backing. Good.

16oz can from College Liquors
Pours clear dark golden with a medium sized white head, good lacing. Aroma is dank, grapefruit, pine resin and pine needles. Taste is resin, grapefruit, oranges and pine resin
Very good. Hoppy but not over the top bitter. It is a little thin at times but I would drink this anytime.

Appearance: pours with a very big beige head that is very dense, the beer is a hazy darker copper color, excellent head retention and lacing Aroma: grass, pine, bread, smells good Taste: bitter throughout, very lightly lasted malt peeks thru the hop bitterness, Palate: heavier mouthfeel, bitter aftertaste, lively carbonation Overall: this is great, kind of a simple beer but it's executed well, very drinkable but still lots of bitterness, ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can poured a clear deep golden hue w/ a large creamy white head. Big sweet pineapple aroma. Initial flavor is moderate sweet w/ a bold bitter finish. Tastes are orange, pineapple, and ruby red grapefruit. Medium bodied and balanced mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at hops and pie. Dark orange almost read with a lasting white head. Sticky lacing. Strong pine forest danky hop nose with a hint of caramel. Herbal and spicy with a heavy citrus kick throughout. Finished is a resinous dry hoppiness. A lot of dank hop aroma and flavor throughout. Pretty warming. I would rate this higher if it was a little more bitter throughout, although the heavy dry hopped flavor provides an interesting change of pace.

Can poured into shaker. Copper colored and bright. Lasting sticky white head. Super pine grapefruit nose. One of the most well balanced IPAs I have ever had. Hints of caramel/toffee back and forth with grapefruit. Finish was my favorite. Huge fan of dry hopped brews. This was clearly heavily dry hopped. Little to no grassy notes on the nose. pleasant and lasting resinous after bite. Dangerous IPA as it was easily quaffable. I would compare this to a dry hopped Dales Pale Ale.
