16oz Can. The pour was a hazy reddish orange with an average (1-2 finger) off white frothy head that was mostly lasting, reducing to a thin cap with good sheets of streaky lacing. The aroma was of a light biscuit malt, pine hops and a moldy yeast with notes of caramel, citrus (grapefruit and orange peel) and a light fruity ester. The taste was mildly malty and a tad sweet with a hint of caramel and a slight fruitiness early on, and then become moderately hoppy with shot of grapefruit and a bitter citrus peel finish. The flavor hung on for a good long time proceeding the swallow with a bitter citrus peel taste left lying on the taste buds. Mouthfeel was just past light in body and extremely dry in texture with a carbonation that was just past medium. Overall this was a very tasty IPA, with a strong bitter hoppy presence that was offset nicely by a mild fruity sweetness...

1 pint pours a hazy copper with a slap in the face of hops. I had a bit of can taste in my mouth too. Average IPA. Low ABV for an IPA and average taste.

I LOVE this beer! Named appropriately with the familiar aroma of some kind bud upon the pour. Cloudy brown color with very little head. Great robust flavors with a resin and floral hops flavor.

Let this one warm up a bit to develop its full potential. Not balanced at all, just straight forward hops. I think the brewer could either pump up the ABV or cut the hops and ABV to improve this,

From can. Pours a dark copper with a definite red hue. Hardly any head. Nose is very pleasant but very much subdued. Some nice lacing and just a few tiny bubbles. Taste is gritty and blunt. Peculiar aftertaste. I didn’t expect a great deal from this--anything that has that much shit printed on the can should be approached with a certain degree of skepticism. Average.

Lives up to it’s name: A one-dimensional resin-bomb. Clean, crisp finish, however. Wish it had a bit more complexity.

Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Easy drinking IPA nice hops balance. This was average and makes for a good session IPA.

Poured from can into snifter, hazy burnt orange with minimal head. Aroma is a bit dank, too be expected. Not bad, not bad...initial taste is decent, the it slowly spirals down. Not very lively, interesting beer actually. I can’t decide if it’s good or not so good.

Nothing special here. Nose os of resinous hops. Mouthfeel is light and the malts dont seem to really meah iratch the hops. Meh

16 oz can dented up on all sides. Color is burnt orange/amber and hazy. Aroma is pine, fruity (mostly citrus) and floral hops with light caramel. Medium body with a smooth feel and average carbonation. Resinous hop flavor, strong pine, citrus and light sweet malts. Medium bitterness and nice balance with a lingering pine finish. Nice

Very weak by many mile high brewed IPA’s . Almost reminds me of a cheap knock off of ryeteous ipa. If I didn’t know where the two brews were made I may be slightly suspicious. This canned pint of dank reminds me of ryeteous from sept. 2012 being distributed . Very rye oriented late hopped ipa with very one dimensional hops - may I say one trick pony ? I can say the basis of this beer could go somewhere - time to leave it in the hands of Bill Eye to improve it . Oh wait - 7c’s was not that good to dry docks IIPA - Doug’s a way better IPA brewer. Hope doing this Beer on that expensive copper brew rig works out- better stick to hefe’s and chads sours. Nice try! ( p. s. I can’t tell you how many Highlanders lost their Marbels tasting this in prosts tasting room . Ha! Times will be -a- changing when the mile high city makes a pliney adversary . This isn’t it tho .
