3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 onceblind (1615) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 11, 2011
On tap at brewpub. Hazy brilliant gold, nearly opaque, with a thin but persistent white head. Smells of grapefruit and pine resin with a firm malty backbone of pale malty grains. Smooth balanced flavor, nice floral citrusy hop profile with a tasty and sweet malt finish. No too much toffee till the aftertaste. Greatly balanced, not too sharp. Deliciously quaffable.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Dogbrick (4837) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 26, 2011
Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a hazed orange-gold color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of mild hops and citrus. Light to medium body with a lightly bitter hops character and notes of citrus and malt. The finish is short and hoppy. Slightly above average overall.
3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 adnielsen (3755) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAY 13, 2011
On tap @ D&D. Cloudy, milky yellow orange appearance with a white head. Mild piney, marijuana hoppy nose. Flavor again is a piney, marijuana hoppy flavor with a fair to medium malty body and I think it’s unfiltered. Not too bad.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 notalush (3742) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 8, 2011
Draft at the brewpub - the pour looks great - unfiltered medium gold with a rock, well-sustained head that lives rings around the glass as you drink - a bit chewy and yeasty for a pale, with a bit too much residual sweetness for my taste - hops were somewhat blunted, subdued - quite a bit of fruity, estery character - a bit of dry, snappy toasted grains on the tail end - a good start, but needs work.
