A little bland on the heels of their rich toffee porter but in retrospect a solid brown.

On tap at Dad and Dudes poured a hazy brown with a small lasting tan head. Aromas of carmel, cocoa and light earthiness. Palkate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, cocoa and light earthiness with a crisp lingering carmel finish.

Pour on tap at the brewery, dark brown pour with thin tan head, aroma brought notes of brown sugar, caramel, slight nuts and earth, hint of grass in there as well, slight biscuit and yeast notes. Taste was a mix of sweet caramel, toffee, hints of spice and yeast, touch of nuts, hint of earth, finishing fairly sweet but dries out well.
