A clear light brown colored beer, with a thick foamy beige head. The aroma of caramel malt with some fruits and spices. The taste is fruity, caramel, some hop bitter. The aftertaste is dry bitter and sweet.

The first whiff of the aroma and I thought it was another over-sour beer but not to worry, it’s actually nicer. Some peach and strawberry in the mouth with a nice palate. Bottle from Burg Bieren Ermelo.

Clear medium to dark amber color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, light to moderate yeasty, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average duration, brown sugar. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100613]

Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is riped fruits, some mild alcohol and yeast. Flavour is riped fruits, alcohol and some sugary notes.

Bottled 30cl. Courtesy of bierkoning. It pours a hazy nut brown beer with a very small head. Apple and pear being rather present throughout. Sweet. Low bitterness. Flat palate. Practically no carbonation at all. Very drinkable. Plenty of character. Thanks a lot bierkoning!

UPDATED: OCT 5, 2011 Bottle. Dark brown color. Malty caramelly aroma with a hint of nutmeg. Sweetish flavor with apple and spicy notes. Short aftertaste. A bit amateuristic, low on carbon and not worth the money I paid for this bottle (about 3 euros for 300 ml)
