Bottle @ FOneFan. Hazy dark brown/orange with small beige head. Flavour is malt, sweet, caramel, dark fruit, toffee and bitter.

Bottle. Red brown colour with abeige head. Aroma is berries, malt, alcohol, hop. Flavour is berries, malt, spices, alcohol, hop, caramel. Full body. OK beer.

Bottle 300ml.

Clear medium brown amber color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly to fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, dark caramel, vintage - berry, toffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, alcohol, berry, dark berry, sweet dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, reddish brown beer with a small, beige head. Fruity, candylike aroma with prunes, yeast, bread, toffee and alcohol. Some phenols and alcohol. The flavor is much the same, not all clean, and with bread, toffee and dried fruits. Quite sweet as well. Full-bodied and warming. The finish is warming, bready and toffee-like, with some bitterness. Not my style of beer, but drinkable anyway. 110416

Bottle 300ml @ fonefan
Pours cloudy brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of dried fruits, malt and caramel. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carboantion is soft.

Bottle @ Ulfborg Easter Tasting, 2011. Pours unclear dark brown with a bubbly off white head. Yeast, toffee, caramel and fruit. Smooth and chewy with a whiff of alcohol.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are sweet caramel, syrop, molasses, fruits and it hides alcohol quite well.

Bottle 30 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear reddish amber with a small off-white head. Sweet honeyish aroma, almost perfumy caramel. Solid body, hardly any carbonation. Caramel, brown sugar, rather complex almost Sherry-like. Warming alcohol finish. Nothing Belgian about this, more like an English Barley Wine. Delicious. 160411

Bottle at Winterbierfestival, Gouda: Dark brown coloured brew with an caramel, fruity taste and some hints of cider-like taste also. Like this one.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Caramel, apple and chichory in the aroma. Sugary sweet flavor with some raisinny and vinous notes. Apple. Alcohol partly hidden. Not really impressive.
