Ungstrup (11353), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 13, 2007 Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with an off-white head. Th aroma is sweet with light flowery hop notes combined with light notes of citrus. The flavor is sweet with a very strong presence of hops hitting you right away with notes of flowers and grass, but then a strong influence of fruit with peaches being strongest hits you, before the hops comes back with a powerful bitterness combined with notes of grass, that lingers for a long while. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden May 15, 2007 Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Hazy amber. Aroma of sweaty grapefruit. Medium sweet with rounded mouthfeel and medium body. Lightly bready malt offers a solid backbone, American hops provide the punch. Lingering really bitter finish. Good IPA! Papsoe (10267), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 6, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) Very unclear, dark orangey golden with a tiny, off-white head. Fat aroma of crystal and caramel malt and some floral hops. Rather low in carbonation. Medium-bodied, lightly caramelish but otherwise completely dominated by fresh and very citrusy aroma hops gradually building up a solid dose of bitterness. Very British in style. Not at all a bad first try. 030806 yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 4, 2007 50 cL bottle (comes as Dagmar Broder Gregers IPA). Pours hazy orange with a light orange frothing head. Fruity aroma. Fruity hoppy flavour at first going into a rather perfumed and soapy dry hoppy flavour before going dry into the finish. The perfumed notes are so heavy that they destroy the experience, sadly. joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 13, 2006 Bottle.
