yespr (6400), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 30, 2007 Updated: Aug 18, 2007CBF07 sample from bottle (as Dagmar Forår). Pours orange, almost clear. Aroma of sweet malt, slight notes of dried fruit. Flavour is sweet malty, a few notes of dried fruit going into a dry hop finish. trapez (199), Hilleroed, Denmark May 12, 2008 Bottle 0.5 l. Bought Kvickly Ringsted. Aroma fruity and hops (Northern Brewer). Colour golden orange with white head. Elegant taste dominated by the hops. Soft carbonation. Dagmar -one of the most beloved Danish queens, mainly due to the romantic writer B.S. Ingemann, is the inspiration of both the brewery and this beer. Definitely the beer is beautiful ("fager"), and a Bohemian princess married to the great Danish King Valdemar the Victorius perhaps also inspired beer brewing in Denmark with use of hops. Maria (3975), Thisted, Denmark May 16, 2007 Københavnske Øldage 07. Draught. Warm golden with a nice head. The aroma has notes of malt and citrus and the flavour of wheat, nice citrus, clove and the overall impression is nice and wit-like. 2102 sayravai (3048), Helsinki, Finland Jul 26, 2008 (Bottled) Slightly hazy amber with a very small, quickly and completely fading head. Toffee-caramely, slightly berryish aroma with some woody-oaky notes and hints of vegetably alcohol. Sweetish, toffee-caramely flavor with hints of acidity and a touch of smoked wood. Medium-bodied with no carbonation. Feels like a traditional ale of some sort. Strange. FrankJohansen (2639), Sabro, Denmark May 19, 2007 Bottle. Clear amber colour with a nice off white head. Aroma and taste of malts, fruits and softly spiced. Nice palate. Taste more like a german style bock than a belgian ale.
