trapez (168), Hilleroed, Denmark May 12, 2008 Bottle 0.5 l. Bought Kvickly Ringsted. Aroma fruity and hops (Northern Brewer). Colour golden orange with white head. Elegant taste dominated by the hops. Soft carbonation. Dagmar -one of the most beloved Danish queens, mainly due to the romantic writer B.S. Ingemann, is the inspiration of both the brewery and this beer. Definitely the beer is beautiful ("fager"), and a Bohemian princess married to the great Danish King Valdemar the Victorius perhaps also inspired beer brewing in Denmark with use of hops.
Jukkabro (2307), Tampere, Finland Jun 22, 2008 Coppery colored with little yellow head. Sweet honey in aroma with some hops and mild spices, thin vegetables also present. Medium bodied. Flavor starts with some burned tone, still caramel and mild lemon dominate. Aftertaste is sweet still with mild dry cardboard, chocolate and lemon. Well, not too Belgian one. Pinball (255), Allerød, Denmark Jun 12, 2008 faint smoked notes to smell and taste, sweeet looks like something light. tastes like something dark. nice brew Skinnyviking (2394), Copenhagen, Denmark Jul 14, 2007 Bottle. Medium high and lasting withe creamy head. Hazy oramge body. Weak oranges nut hops aroma. Sorry but tjhe flavor is rather watery in spite of the roasted and dry malt. I am not sure what should have done the trick. Just sure that the result is "middle-of -the-road-I-do-not-lknow-what-I-want-to-be".. Result: Boring nothing. elektronikfagteknikerlærling (893), kbh, Denmark Jun 28, 2007 tap. color is a golden tone. it has a medium head. taste is malty and grainy. there is some citrus. quite fresh.
