Dark brown with a small tan head. Malty with fruity tones. malt, coffee and licorice. Medium body with a bitter sweet after taste.

Near black, sma creamy head. Oily, tarry nose. Sweet and thick with medium body and oily sticky mouthfeel. Tarry molasses and coffee, slight resiny bitterness. Harsh.

Medium dark brown head. Opaque black body. Earthy roasty aroma with musty barnyard notes. Sweet, and faintly acidic, roasty earthy soy sauce taste with barnyard notes. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dryish sooty earthy fruity aftertaste. Clean minty sooty flavour lingers for a long time. Not great. (0.1l draft at DBF’11.)

CBF 2011. Black body with a small brown head. Smoke, coffee and roasted malt. Waterish mouthful.

Draught@CPH BF 2011. Black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is toasted malts, some liquorice, mild toffee as well as some slight notes of leather. Flavour is liquorice, mild roasted malts, smoked wet wood, some leather and also some dark dry fruityness.

Draught at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Black with a small brown head. Aroma and flavour of roasted malt, caramel and with hints of smoke.

pitch dark smooth brown head. roasted stuff, dark malts, bitter caramel. flavor is roasted stuff, fruity note, flowers, a bit off.

Bottle at Esbjerg beer festival 2009.Pours black with a brown head.Aroma is smoked and roastes grains .Flavor is dry and grainy with some bitter and roasted notes.Medium body,kinda watery feel,average carbonation.Ok stout.
