Jan 2, 2006 (Bottle 33 cl) Beautiful, clear caramel colour with a small, off-white dissipating head. Aroma mainly of roasted malt. Flavour dominated by caramel and roasted malt - perhaps even with a slightly burned edge. But mainly dry, not much christmasy sweetness here. Very subdued bitterness. 020106

Mar 26, 2005 Bottled. Very reddish brown colour, decent reddish foamy head. Caramel and malt in aroma. smooth palate and pretty sweet malty flavour. A bit bitter finish. Thanks to a friend who gave one of his "spares" for me to rate.

Aug 26, 2005 Bottle. Red brown colour with a baige head. Caramel malty hay aroma and a sweet hay taste. Medium body and a sweet finish.

Dec 14, 2005 Bottled. Nice head for a short while. Reddish-brown head. Some malt in aroma and hints of roastiness. Mild flavor of roastiness and caramell. Not much bitterness in the finish either. Definately better than the regular Norwegian pils, but it has nothing to do with Christmas in my opinion. (051214)
