geographylists (24), San Diego, California, USA Nov 14, 2006 Got this at a local Vietnamese supermarket. The bottles label this as a dark ale. There’s a definite strong flavor--a bit chocolaty--though almost reminiscent of black beans. Moderately strong aftertaste. Might be just a tad bit too sweet. Decent beer--definitely worth a try.
ako (122), Turku, Finland Mar 18, 2008 Very dark, slight red light coming through, tan head. Aroma has sweet yet a little burned malt. Some crispiness in flavor, not very malty. Feels very light, even a little too light for the style. Very faint bitterness in the end. Refreshing.
