UPDATED: JUN 16, 2010 Bottle. Hoppy aroma, sweet and slightly buttery, with golden malts. Crisp. Pale Yellow color, almost a proper head. Hoppy, fruity, rich flavor. Sweet malts in the back, with biscuits. Light but very flavorful, and a bit sweet. Slightly creamy. Dry, hoppy finish. Decent pils.

Botella. Unclear golden colour. Good mouthfeel. Fruity, lightly bitter flavour with a pleasant maltiness. Dry fruity bitter finish. Good pilsner.

DruncanVeasey (5146) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Prem, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUN 20, 2008
UPDATED: NOV 7, 2011 1) Bottle courtesy of Dirtman. Pallid gold with a faint haze. Aroma rubber, sulphur, marzipan, fizz, popcorn. Very distant herbal/coniferous noble hops and ganja about an hour after the pour. A few bum notes here- a hint of slightly soily dankness, plastic, marzipan, very watery citrus. Buttery popcorny sweetness and fresh bread lingering long after the swallow. Not enough citrus to qualify as a golden ale, not nearly enough biting hop bitterness to seriously be considered a pilsener. Pale lager it is. 625311-2.7 2) Draught at the brewpub. Top fresh grassy and lime aroma with some wine gum fruitiness. Clean and soft with a grassy/citrus/biscuit balance leaning towards England. Picks up some flowery, herbal notes as it warms; lemon zest and lime rind, biscuit. Highly sessionable
