Appearance : Golden clear lager with good above average fine dense top.3+
Nose : Sweet pale malt hint of corn with refreshing amount of mineral hops with profile typical of Sleeman brews.
Flavour/Palate :Medium light bodied with above average harshness of carbonation. Oily sweetness covered with wet leaf hoppiness. Late semi dry alcoholic finish. Malt work fairly hollow leaving emptiness in the middle of palate. On positive note: it is nice to see hop involvement on entry level mass brewed lager.

Bouteille. De couleur dorée et transparente. Nez de grains de malt pâle, léger de maïs sucré avec des notes de houblon herbeux (gazon mouillé) et des traces fruitées (agrumes). Mince en bouche avec un pétillement bas et une texture aqueuse. Goût de grains de malt pâle avec de petites notes fruitées (zest de citron) lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi d’un goût moyennement sucré de maïs et légèrement herbeux (gazon mouillé) puis en finale l’on retrouve une très légère amertume de houblon herbeux (notes de foin) avec des notes chimiques. Post-goût court-moyen et un peu sec, légèrement amer de houblon herbeux (gazon mouillé et foin) avec des petites notes chimiques et fruitées (zest d’agrumes).

Bottle (341ml). "Dry" - always the sign of an awesome beer ... Poured clear bright bubbly gold with a large sticky bright white fluffy head. Oh, jesus, another bottle of corn juice, dry, cheaply sweet, maybe a hint of apricot? Or am I having a stroke? Probably not - it’s also a little dung-like too, gets 4 instead of 3 because I’m a generous guy and it’s pretty mild, keeping the offensiveness down some. Tastes fligh, not too offensive, more apple juice and cheap grain than dung and corn, but drink it cold and quick. Watery, sugary, fairly flat, quick finishing but a vaguely unpleasant sugary/sour grain aftertaste remains for a while - Ehh, not horrific, tastes better than Blue.

Apparently a macro. form Quebec. NOt so interesting, a little bitter, but very normal taste. NOt annoying but that is it.

Perfumey, floral, creamed corn aroma. Clear golden body topped by a fizzy white head that recedes rapidly to partial cover. Creamed corn and mild herbal hops with strong fruity character and very light bitterness in the flavour. Sweetness lingers on the tongue. Light and watery with sharp, pointy carbonation that scrapes the tongue. Lager glass. Fridge temperature. Bottle (Metro Joanette, Apr-05).

Bouteille de 341 ml. Cette bière est brassé exclusivement pour les différentes banières de Métro au Québec. Arôme: Rien de particulier ne vient au nez. Apparence: La couleur est blonde avec une forte densité de bulle. Présence d’un moyen col mousseux avec une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Légere trace de houblon. Courte durée de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps et la texture sont mince. Faible effervescence en bouche. Très légère présence de fruité en arrière goût. (Rating #474)
