Clear light amber color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, roasted, dusty, light hoppy. Flavor is light to moderate sweet, light light acidic and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (120408)

Jun 8, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a fully diminished off white head. Spiced aroma. Flavour is solid hoppy spiced and bitter with a subdued caramel malt. Ends bitter and somewhat dry.
gunnfryd (2659), Kristiansand, Norway
May 29, 2008 Bottle. Amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma caramel, malt, fruit. Flavour is caramel, malt, fruit, hint of hop, apple. OK easy drinkable beer.
Maria (3788), Thisted, Denmark
Apr 18, 2008 Tasting at my place. Courtesy of Enjoyit. Orange golden with a nice head. the aroma has notes of malt, fruit and hops. The flavour has sweetness, notes of fruit, citrus, caramel and the bitterness is slightly dry and citrussy. IMO it’s more British ale like than a dunkel.
