Commercial Description:
A beer of low fermentation, inspired by the German style "bock". Our Christmas Beer has a reddish brown colour and a very full body based on Münchener malts and caramel malts. Both aroma and flavour are distinctly "malty", and one may sense that the spices of Christmas are discrete ingredients in this beer. A good and rich beer, a perfect accompaniment with the food traditions of winter. Ingredients: Water, barley malts, hops, spices and yeast.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yngwie. Clear warm mahogany colour with a dense beige and lacing head. Aroma of fruit and roasted malt. Medium body with fairly burned malt accents and a distinct hoppy finish. I believe it lacks some sweetness to be a proper Christmas beer. 030608

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy and golden amber to brown. Dried fruity and dense malt aroma. Dry breadish and mild spiced initial flavour. Followed by a mix of chocolate and caramel malt flavours. Goes into a dry bitterness and followed by a short smooth chocolate finish.

Bottle, 4.7%. Slightly dusty and slightly roasted aroma. Clear dark brown colour with a red shine. Small creamy light brown head. The flavour starts off quite roasted, turning vinous. The aftertaste is roasted and creamy.

Tasting at my place. Courtesy of Enjoyit. Red-brown with a huge, nice and creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, candy sugar and caramel. The flavour has sweetness, notes of candy sugar, slightly burnt caramel and light notes of spice and citrus. The overall impression is a bit weak, but otherwise OK.
