Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, spices, and some caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, over ripe fruits, caramel, and a bit of spices, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yngwie. Pours amber with a rough, off-white head. Oxidized aroma, caramel, fruit and spices. Rather solid body, caramel, pumpernickel and spices - some licorice perhaps. Quite some alcohol in the finish. 221109

Trade with Yngwie, thanks! It is hazy, light brown with a red hue and a creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, oranges and light honey. The flavour has sweetness and notes of oranges, yeast, spice, roasted malt, caramel and honey. It is smooth, harmonic and quite tasty.

UPDATED: MAY 30, 2010 Bottle. It pours a hazy, orange-golden to brown body under an off-white head. The aroma is ultra-sweetish with a good dash of anise and even more orange. Orange-driven flavor too, with anise and lots of sugary sweetness. Thinnish impression on the palate, even though it’s not thin-bodied. Too much orange in this one, but will rerate a bottle later on. Maybe, hopefully, it has mellowed a bit. It would be too late for those having bought it for the Christmas of 2008 though. Rating: 4-4-5-3-10-2.6. 081130

Bottle. It’s an almost clear, amber beer topped by a small off-white head. Artificial oranges and a good dash of anise in the aroma. The flavor is sweet, with spices and artificial orange. Medium body. Spiced, bitter finish with orange. A decent beer, nothing more. And the cellaring hasn’t helped much either. 091223
