Bottle at Cardinal Pub, Stavanger. Very dark brown, almost black, but with red tones. Tan head. espressoo aroma. Roasted malts, hints of vanilla and chocolate flavours. Rather fizzy for a stout. Nice.

Jun 8, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a lacing tan head. Mild liqourice and malt aroma. Light smoked malt flavour with a quite dry note and no sweetness what so ever. Dry and roasted finish with a nice bitterness showing through.

May 14, 2008 Bottle @ Thisted Tasting by Maria.. Clear medium brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, ciffee, bread, light to moderate yeasty, horse blanket, barnyard. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. (120408)

Apr 19, 2008 Dark amber of color with a beige head. An aroma of animal, liqurice and malt. A flavor liqueice and roasted. Somehow odd, maybe this is a bad bottle.

Apr 18, 2008 Tasting at my place. Courtesy of Enjoyit. It’s a dark brown-red beer with a huge, nice and creamy head. The aroma has notes of barnyard and the flavour of barnyard, horse blanket and sewer. It’s clearly not like it should be, and I really aught to give it less points, but with the others I have tasted from this brewery, I’m sure it would have been nice...

Apr 17, 2008 Bottle. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is roasted, hop, coffee, caramel. Flavour is dry, roasted, hop, coffee, caramel. Medium body. OK beer.
