COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bock is a traditional spring beer in Germany. It was first brewed by monks in Einbeck to get them through Lent. The ’Liquid bread’ they brewed, heavy on malt and low on hops, became popular in Bavaria and transformed into many variations, including the light colored Heller Bock. The bite you taste in this beer is most likely the alcohol from the abundance of malt.Enjoy the warmth.Prost!

22oz bottle. Rating #4. Light to medium copper color with an off-white head. Lightly sweet and a little boozy with a bit of caramel on the nose as well. Pretty smooth and a touch toasty with some sweet caramel and a boozy kick in the end, interesting stuff. (1674)

A: The pour is a clear burnt orange color with a finger of white foam. S: Smells quite sweet and a touch boozy. Decently malty but quite a lot of sugar to it as well. There’s a little bit of fruit like apple and banana and some yeast. T: Intensely sweet and sugary--almost grainy. Some malt flavors as well as fruity bananas, pears, and apples. Sweet malt is also there, as are some floral and grassy hops. But, there’s just way too much booze. M: Fairly full in body with a medium level of carbonation. O: Too hot and not really a lot of different flavors in there other than cloying sweetness.

Bottle from Piano Piano in Claremont. Poured a golden color thin head. Aroma was bready. Taste was malty and crisp. Didn’t seem like 8%. Enjoyable.

From a bottle, there’s definetly a bite to this beer.bread, minimal head, hazy, very bitter,I’m really surprised by Dales Bros for making this.
