COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pomona Queen is a California Common Beer, a style born right here in the 1800's. Its amber color is as rich as the flavor, which is full and balanced. Very California, not very common, and purely delicious.

Deep amber with thin white head. Scent is faint malt, grain. Taste is fairly sweet malt....softly hopped. Not much bite to it. Average.

Pours a golden color with a white head. Strong yeast aroma with some bready malt and a pronounced graininess. A little bit of grass and floral hop aroma. The flavor is sort of bland. It’s just sort of sweet with a little bit of malt flavor. It’s mostly just grainy and bland.

Poured at home from a bottle. Had a quick head that disappeared just as quickly. No lacing at all. A nice, clear amber color. Medium, well balanced lager. Soft carbonation, abrupt finish. I actually bought this to add to a chili recipe, but must say that I enjoyed drinking the other half. :)

A very simple beer. Pours a nice amber color with a head that dissappates quickly. Sort of refreshing until you are hit with a strange doughy aftertaste. Like a good idea (California Common style) gone wrong. However, having said that, do not judge this brewery by this brew. They call this their transition beer and it is BY FAR the least interesting of the lot. Would be non-offensive to someone who appreciates mass marketed rice water. Try Dale Bros. Winter Haze or Califonia Black Beer if you can.

Barreras (410) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - DEC 18, 2010
Pours a clear brown color with a sweet creamy smell. Taste is very clean with minimal aftertaste, a simple amber that lacked any complexity in taste. An enjoyable beer that was lightly refreshing.

Tap. Rating# 40. Clear copper with a small white head, much darker than I expected. Light caramel malts in the aroma. Odd flavor that I can’t place, toasty and a bit sweet, not too shabby. (1445)
