18 jan 2013, tap at Dale Bros brewery. Light amber, clear, no bubbles. Nose is some alcohol and a bit winey or white grape. Thin body and moderately fizzy. Has a powdery medicine taste that really isn't very nice. Really don't want to finish this two once taster.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Barreras (608) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - DEC 18, 2010
Pours a clear copper color with a good aroma of hops. Taste is of clean hops as if they filtered this beer extra times. A slight aftertaste consistent with its full bodied hops taste. Overall an okay beer that I thought would have more of a hoppy bite.

Tap at E! Burger. Rating# 29. Dark amber, maybe copper with a nice little white head. Light (very light) toasted aroma and a touch of sweetness. Flavor has a light hop bite with a nice clean candy sweetness, very drinkable and pretty damn good. (1444)

This beer smells amazing: cinnamon, nutmeg, dried citrus, toasted nuts - really complex. Surprisingly, lighter on the palate than I was expecting, but still pretty substantial. Good amount of hops with all that malt. Seems like it would be better appreciated when it turns cold outside.

A: The pour is a clear, dark amber color with a large off-white head.
S: A nice sweet caramel malt aroma and a mild spice to it. I also pick up a slight bit of hop aroma.
T: I was pleasantly surprised by this beer. A definite sweet, caramel malt flavor, but still a mild bitterness and spiciness which add complexity to it.
M: The carbonation is moderate and the body is medium.
D: By far the best beer I have had from Dale Bros. I wouldn’t mind having this one again, and it is a big step up from their Pomona Queen.

This is a schizo beer. Pours orange/red. First aromas are the piney hops. Then if you linger you can smell some cinnamon. Then you take a sip and it’s like an amber mixed with a pilsner. Smooth. Very biscuity and crisp. I like it.

Poured a hazy golden amber with a thin off-white head but also some legs. Sweet caramel/toffee aroma with earthy and minty hop notes. Malty and earthy flavor. Mildly bitter finish. Medium bodied.

Deep amber beer with a thin head. Aroma is a little bit malty with a kiss of caramel. It doesn’t really smell like much... just a sort of crystally sweet with a lingering herbal bitterness. Meh, nothing to write home about.
