Cask handpull at The Berry, Walmer. Dark brown colour wiht lasting beige head. Now this I do like. Good proper brown bitter with good roasty notes. It’s a malty toasty beer. Really rather good. Can;t complain about the beer quality or condition at this pub. Definitely decent. OK.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 hughie (3992) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 14, 2010
Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Amber brown with a small off white head. Earthy malt aroma, tending towards chocolate. Taste is nutty, earthy, and solid, full of the autumnal promise of compost and leaf mould. Mid bitter finish. Good, but why do they have to misrepresent this beer as the produce of the fictitious ’Dales Ales’?
