On tap at Zelena Kocka (03/03/13). Clear gold pour, rocky white head. Aroma is tame, light graininess, something a bit twangy and off, slightly metallic, autolysed yeast. Flavor is grainy, not particularly fresh, honey, a tad watery. Palate is good, typical svetle but doesn’t deliver well in aroma and flavor.

My Bottom Line:
Velvety honeyed malts and mild herbal hops are bothered by rubbery phenolics.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A layer of foam laces atop the clear honeyed golden.
-The same overworked yeast phenolics (rubber) appeared in all Dalesicky brews that evening… Shame…
-This brew remained drinkable since the rubber was subtle, but it was still difficult to overlook this production fault.

On tap at Zelena Kocka, Brno.

Draught at Zelena Kocka, Brno: Golden, mid-sized lacy white head; moderate sweet-malty and slightly hoppy nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, solid malty base detectable, light to medium bodied; light bitter-sweet finish with atinge of aromatic hops in the aftertaste. Quite pleasant, clean 11°.......

on tap at the brewpub. champagne colour and carbonation and a shaving cream head. mineral water aroma. utterly flavourless, the blandest czech beer i’ve ever encountered, crisp, pretty terrible
