On tap at Zelena Kocka (03/03/13). Dark, slightly hazy, gold pour with frothy white head. Grainy nose, some of the same problems as the other two svetles, not as bad as kvasnicovy however. Light honey aroma and flavor, light herbal hop bite in the finish. Palate is good, nice and creamy. Drinkable.

My Bottom Line:
Lightly dusty honeyed malts benefit from some herbal hop bitterness to balance out the finish, but that same rubbery nose cannot be avoided. A common problem for Dalesicky Pivovar, or rare occurrence ?
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy sheet of foam tops the dark amber haze.
-Again, rubbery phenolics marred this Dalesicky brew’s nose. Same in all 4 that evening being served at Zelena Kocka Dalesické Pivovarsky Restaurace.
-All problems aside, this tasted like a weak Heller Bock.
-Carbonation felt natural and the mouthfeel was convincingly comfortable.
On tap at Zelena Kocka, Brno.

draught at "Tak chutná Ceska republika"- festival on Wencels Square, the word májovy was not mentioned. Hazy golden colour, creamy white head. Intensive malty base with a grainy touch, pleasant saaz hops in the finish. Similar to their 11° with a more powerful malt base.

Aroma=very good balance of caramely malt and hops with some not unpleasant diacetyl. Almost clear amber topped by a thin film. Sweetish "amber" malt flavour with a nice fresh Saaz hops contribution. Some tobacco and raisin. Medium to light body with moderate carbonation and a clean finish.
