Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of fruit and malt as well as a bit of yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, elderflowers, malt, cardboard, and fruit, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Clear 500ml bottle. Poured into a Corsendonk Grand Cru tulip. Best before the end of April 2010, drank and reviewed 8th April 2010, so just in date. Looks like a lager, smells like an ale. Bright golden body with a pure, snow white head, thick and creamy. Hops leap out the glass into your nose just to remind you this is an ale, not a lager. Strange blend of lager/ale tastes/flavours, the body is also half and half! Interesting and worth finding.

4.3% pale yellow with a thin head, sweet floral aroma, sweet but bitter citrus hop taste, the best of the Daleside beers I have tried.

Bottled. A blonde beer with practically no head. A farty unpleasant aroma. Sweet in the mouth with buttery malts. Definite lager qualities. Passable in the mouth with a little citrus. The aroma though is not good at all.

Surprised on the upside. Well constructured golden ale of strictly medium weight what shows nice spicey fruits and aniseed hints. Completely refreshing and appropriate for the warmer weather. Otherwise very unremarkable but I couldn’t help be charmed.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Distinct British skewed hops in the nose - odd phenols. Medium body, sweet fruit, but also metal and odd phenols. Dryish finish. Typically unclean British. 150610
