Nose is fruity with citrus, apricots and a nice spicy, earthy hop aroma. Taste is fruity with a fresh earthy/spicy hop character. Light to medium body. Very drinkable with a very nice hop character.

Goldings and citrus hops, doughy, yeasty, some spice, some red fruit, white sherbet. Bitter. Blond coloured beer. It’s a bit light on flavour. I don’t get the citrus or sherbet. Average beer.

Cask @ Bpon Accord. Clear glden colour, off-white head. Nose is slight malted, bit of citrus. Flavour is light malted, citric, wheat, creamy. Refreshing and easy drinkable.

Cask @ The Bon Accord. Fruity resin biscuit aroma. Rich golden colour. Resin biscuit flavour. Bitter sweet aftertaste. Reasonable golden ale.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, overripped apple, light hoppy, citrus, light yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100117]

Handpump at The Queen’s Arms, Birmingham. Straw coloured with a very short head. Lovely citrus scent. Slightly bitter. Aroma has honey, hops and mown grass. No aftertaste. Just slightly dry.

Cask at the Bricklayers Arms, 18th April 2008. Light yellow gold. Honey joins the hops and malt in the aroma. Flavour wise, it’s like the Premium Gold but ’dialled back’ somewhat. Soft and light in the mouth, this is a good golden session beer.

Pours a clear golden, yellow-amber with a light creamy, small, white head. Aroma is stacked with pine hops and light pilsner malts. Okay mouthfeel, but a little watery. Mild flavour, light malty with good, dry, pine hoppiness.
