3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Medium high creamy and brown head. Very dark red almost black body. Roasted malt aroma with choccloate and some sweetness I cannot figure out. Coffee choccolate flavor with a nice hops bitterness. Low carbonation and a long coffee aftertaste rather than choccolate. Impressive taste for such a low alcohol beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
courtesy of oh6gdx - pours a dark black colour under a fine dark beige foam; nice lacing; deep aroma of cocoa and chocolate, gently roasted; sweet and creamy, medium-bodied, a touch of late sourness, long chocolatey afetrtaste with residual sweetness - good although one-dimensional

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Very dark brown with a beige head. Ashy chocolate aroma. Taste has coffee and cocoa plus a little sourness. Not a great deal of bitterness: in fact the whole thing is a bit low key.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tasted 28/01/2008. 500ml bottle from Regional Wines and Spirits. Vented and allowed to warm, while I walked the black dog. Black with thick tan head, which doesn’t stick around for long. Burnt toast, wood, caramel, a little pepper and milk chocolate. Also hints of red wine with a little dark fruit and tannin. Sweet malt and roast dominate the mouth, where it doesn’t quite reach the heights of the nose. Burnt gingerbread crust, green plums and floral esters are picked up too. Nice lingering roastiness dries out the sweetness. Carbonation and weight are about spot on. Unspectacularly good.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, 4.0%. OK aroma, dark chocolate, slightly bitter and some chocolate powder. The flavour is smoky and quite roasted, slightly sour with a little cigarette butt notes.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, from Netto. Jet Black, excellent lasting fluffy beige head and gentle condition. Pleasant liquorice, burnt coffee, chocolate and buttery notes in the nose, slightly muted in the mouth with a dry tinniness intruding on the chocolate sweetness and coffee bean bitterness, roasted barley and chocolate nesquik in the finish but shorter than I expected from the nose. Pretty good though for only 4% abv.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, bought @ YNWA, Kolding. Pours almost pitch-black with a small creamy beige head that stays for a long time. Aroma is lots of dark chocolate, some roasted malts and sweetness. Very nice, creamy mouthfeel. Flavour begins roasted, then belnds in super amounts of cocoa, light toffee, all mixing into a great feel of dark chocolate.
