COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Congress Ale is brewed using a complex mix of malts and hops producing a well-balanced, traditional Yorkshire beer. Its nutty flavour and subtle hoppy aroma gives way to a satisfyingly gentle bitterness. Congress Ale is specially brewed for the International Medieval Congress, organised by the Institute for Medieval Studies at the University of Leeds. The Congress attracts over 1400 participants from all over the world and is the biggest event of its kind in Europe.
