3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Aroma of sweetish dark fruit backed by some chocolate. Dark mahogany color with an off-white head that quickly collapsed. Thin to medium body with moderate carbonation. The flavor is dark toasted malt with a medicinal tinge. Coarse chocolate notes and enough bitter to be noticeable. The finish is relatively dry, maybe a bit earthy, and the chocolate and bitter persist. It’s really very drinkable. Brilliant, even.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very dark amber, clear and a nice and creamy head. The aroma is malty and the flavour is sweetish, malty with burnt notes of caramel, light fruit and a moderate bitterness, that develops further in the finish in a citrussy way. 1814
