Copper color with a small, but stable khaki colored lid. Loads of lace. Really need to sniff deep to catch much from this one. HInts of earthy malt and dark caramel. Yup, quite english in flavor. Some earth malt and a ever so mild licorice bite. Certainly nothing exciting. Fairly thin in feel. Nice bitter linger, but the flavors, or lack thereof, left me wanting more. But not necessarily more of this.

Dark amber with minimal head. Aroma has some nuts, dark malts and a touch of spice. The flavour is malty but otherwise pretty thin. Some sweetness to strat and a drier bland finish.

Bottled. Dark brown, amber body with a thick, big-bubbled beige head. The aroma is burned with rubber and cookies, but a bit metallic. Taste burned, chocolate but the finish is metallic and a bit unbalanced. Ok to drink - a bit boring and average though.

50cL bottle. Medium brown color. Tan head. Rich caramel aroma with a touch of mustiness. Flavor of toasted malts, light caramel. Nice fruitiness. A bit of earthy hops and spice in the finish. Light tannins. Simple and mellow.
