Bottled. Dark brown colour with big fluffy, off-white head. Toast malt and caramel in aroma. Pretty soft body with lively mouthfeel, with balanced maltiness. Nothing stands out, there is a tiny prominence in toast and varamel. Hops are laid back.

Bottle. A copper body, clear, with a decent beige head. Roasted, sweetish nose with dried fruits and caramel. Full-bodied and a bit sticky mouthfeel with flavors of roasted malt, dried fruits and dark sugars. Roasted bitterness. Pleasant finish with dried fruits, sugar and roasted bitterness. A really pleasant one, possibly deserving a higher score. (080905)

Bottle. Copper with a small head. Aromas are sweet toffee malts with caramel and some fruitiness. Flavours are sweet malts with a light undetermined fruitiness and and lightly dry, bitter finish. Simple but decent.

Big beige head. Deep dark red translucent body. Sweet malty aroma with earthy toffee and floral hop notes. Dry-sweet roasty earthy malt taste with chocolate notes. Soft, mild mouthfeel, with what feels like mild alcohol burn (at 5.3%?). Dry burnt earthy aftertaste. Very nice! (0.5l bottle, Systembolaget, Göteborg.)

Pint bottle purchased on vacation in Rangeley, Maine. Pours a clear ruby brown, the color of iced tea, with a small off white & minimal lacing. Aroma is malty with minimal scent of fruits. Flavor is initially toffee candy which quickly fades to roasted malt and very minor chocolate. Smooth palate, easy drinking beer. Nothing all that secial, but I don’t regret buying it.
